Educational advising

Educational advising assistance for Botswana students wishing to study in the USA.

If you wish to undertake study in the United States, either at graduate or undergraduate level, our Educational Advising Service, located within our information resource center, is able to provide advice and assistance regarding testing, application and entrance procedures for U.S. universities. It has directories of universities and colleges offering courses in particular subjects, information about possible scholarships and copies of college and university handbooks. The educational advisor also has a videotape concerning higher education in the United States, which is shown in the video center every Tuesday at 1400 hours. This videotape is designed to provide general information about higher education in the United States, how to apply for financial assistance, and student life in the U.S. Hours for our educational advising service are Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:00pm - 4:30pm. Viewing of the educational video is a prerequisite for students who need assistance from our educational advisor.

Please note that aside from our Fulbright Program, we do not offer scholarships to students.
