American Studies

The Public Affairs Section  promotes a better understanding of American life, institutions, economy, politics, and culture, by promoting American Studies abroad, facilitating study in the U.S., and promoting studies of American language and literature.

Educators whose subject matter touches on American Studies, whether they be university professors, primary or secondary school teachers, curriculum designers, textbook writers, etc., are encouraged to contact the Cultural Affairs Officer at Public Affairs section to discuss how we might help to enrich existing programs or develop new programs.

Students who plan to study in the United States should contact the Information Resource Center  at the following number: (+267) 395 3982 ext  2428/2424. This office has reference materials in paper and electronic format to assist in identifying appropriate college and graduate programs and learning the entrance requirements.
