Election Watch Breakfast Attracts Botswana's Movers and Shakers

On November 3, Ambassador Huggins hosted an Election Watch breakfast at which Botswana's movers and shakers discussed the incoming results of the 2004 U.S. Presidential elections. Diplomats, government officials, academics and business people were fascinated by this close and unpredictable race. 2004 was a Presidential election year in Botswana as well, so there was keen interest in Botswana to compare and contrast the two electoral systems.
